Dr. Faraj I wanted to do something that was bigger than small fillings. From Syria to dental school, he chose the specialty patients turn to when cases are most complex. Today he takes on every case with confidence, guiding patients through life-changing transformations. Hi, I'm Dr. Faraj. I'm a surgical prosthodontist here in Lubbock, Texas. I'm the owner of Eleve Cosmetic and Implant Center. I grew up in Syria. I was born in '93, grew up in the middle of nowhere, Syria, in very suburban Damascus. Around age 16 or 17, I was looking into a long-term career. Dentistry caught my attention because it sets very deep within my core values. It allowed me to spend time with my family. That was truly the reason I got into dentistry. In the clinical phase of our dental school, whenever we had a case that was too complicated, whenever the occlusion was off, whenever the cosmetic demands was extreme, we always went back to the prosthodontist. Whenever we did not know how to proceed, we went back to the prosthodontist. To me, that's exactly what I wanted. I wanted to be the guy that people came for answers. I wanted to be able to tackle every case that would walk through my door with confidence in terms of how I can get them from this point to the end result that they wanted. I wanted to do something that was bigger than small fillings. I wanted to be part of a long journey for the patient, part of a life-changing event. That's truly what we do here at Eleve Dental.
