Our Sedation Options
for Anxious Patients
Some of our Lubbock patients have put off dental care for years because anxiety and fear keep them out of the chair. If you’re ready to take the first step toward improved oral health, our two types of sedation can make it easier:
Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation requires a patient to take a prescribed pill before their appointment, so they show up relaxed and ready for their procedure. It’s a lighter form of sedation that’s perfect for shorter, less-invasive procedures.
IV Sedation
For patients who have severe dental anxiety or a lengthier procedure ahead of them, we may recommend IV sedation with Dr. Yazdani. This form of sedation is administered through an IV line, and Dr. Yazdani will maintain your comfort and safety throughout your procedure.
